- Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia (original)
- Also Mayfair, Canary Wharf, Aldwych
- Robata grill, open kitchen
- Lunch and dinner, year round
Roka is the Zuma group's casual format — the same Rainer Becker hand, the same robata at the centre, the lower price point and the looser dress code. The Charlotte Street original opened in 2004 and remains the room I prefer to the Mayfair sister: smaller, warmer, the counter that turns over twice in a service. The Fitzrovia neighbourhood is the right setting for the lunch that runs into the afternoon.
Sit at the robata counter for lunch, take the gyutan and the rock shrimp tempura, drink the cold sake. The dinner service at Charlotte Street holds until 23h on a Thursday.
The Zuma format at lunch register.
