Coya Mayfair

The Piccadilly Peruvian — ceviche, anticuchos, pisco bar in the basement, the dinner that turns into a Saturday night.

Coya opened on Piccadilly in 2012 as the high-end Peruvian answer to the wave that Nobu and Zuma had defined, and remains the address that the Mayfair Saturday-night crowd defaults to when the dinner has to lead somewhere. The ceviche bar at the entrance is the right starting point; the pisco lounge in the basement is where the night lands.

Book the dinner at 21h, take the tiradito and the lomo saltado, move to the pisco bar for the DJ. The City sister handles the weeknight; the Mayfair room handles the weekend.
