La Cantine du Faubourg has held its position at Jumeirah Emirates Towers for over a decade with a Paris brasserie format adapted to the late-evening Dubai service. The art collection on the walls is part of the room and the music programme is meant to take the dinner past midnight.
Reserve the centre banquette, take the steak frites and the truffle pasta, plan for the table to stay through the DJ set. The Sunday brunch is the loudest service of the week and works for a group of ten or more. For a quieter version of the same kitchen, the early Tuesday dinner is the best seat.
