Morini arrived in Zorlu Center through the Altamarea Group as the Istanbul outpost of Michael White's New York Italian programme — handmade pasta, the seafood-focused secondi, the Mediterranean wine list. The room is the polished version of the centre's Italian options; the kitchen reads more confidently than the shopping-centre setting would suggest.
Reserve dinner at eight on a Friday, take the pasta tasting between two, and let the sommelier pair the bottle. The lunch is the lighter service; the dinner is the room at full volume.
