Dots is the Vienna Japanese group that Martin Ho opened in 2007 and has since grown to half a dozen rooms across the city — the format being the Zuma-style sushi-and-robata register that the Vienna international set treats as the alternative to the older European-Asian dining institutions. The kitchen is correct, the counter holds the omakase, the room runs at volume in the evening.
Book the sushi counter for dinner at 20h, take the omakase and the black cod from the robata. The Mariahilf room is the more central sister.
