The W is the younger Aspen hotel — louder, more design-forward, and unapologetically the party room. The rooftop WET Deck with the heated pool and the fire pits is the late-afternoon scene most weekends, and the rooms are sized for two people who plan to spend the day on the mountain and the evening out, not for long contemplative reads. For EVG weekends and bachelor parties this is the obvious choice.
The location on Wagner Park is two blocks from the gondola — close enough for ski-in/ski-out via the boot valet, far enough that the WET Deck noise does not reach the village. Note the property closes for renovations April 20 to May 20, 2026; for late-season ski weeks confirm reopening before booking.
