Six Senses London opened in the former Whiteley's department store on Queensway on March 1st, 2026 — the IHG group's most ambitious European wellness address, and a genuine statement about what luxury hospitality can ask of a building that has been in Bayswater since 1863. AvroKO designed the interiors with EPR Architects, threading Six Senses' signature materials sensibility through Victorian bones without cleaning out the history.
The clinical offer is what separates this from a well-appointed hotel spa. HUM2N, founded by Dr Mohammed Enayat, runs the longevity clinic with advanced blood diagnostics, IV nutrient therapy, and hormone optimisation protocols — the kind of programme that Lanserhof or SHA would charge a weekly residential rate for, available here on a day or overnight basis. The 2,300 m² facility adds London's first hotel magnesium pool, cryotherapy chambers, and flotation. The Six Senses Place — members' club for guests and local members alike — runs programming around seasonal rhythms: shared meals, talks, breathwork, practices with a lightness of tone that the more clinical wellness operators rarely manage.
