The International Sotogrande tournament is the calendar the European polo world plans its August around — fifty-five years of continuous season at Santa María Polo Club, three cups across six weeks, and a high-goal field of 20-22 that is the strongest open competition outside Argentina and the UK. The format runs Bronze, Silver, then Gold from late July to the final Saturday of August.
