- 27 holes, old and new courses
- Founded 1923, closer to the airport
- Clubhouse lunch by reservation
- Royal title held since the 1970s
Royal Golf is the oldest course in Marrakech and still the most planted — the old nine runs through olive trees that were already in place when the club opened in the 1920s, and the new eighteen behind it tracks the same calm line. The clubhouse lunch is the simpler one of the three serious Marrakech golf addresses, but the terrace overlooks the practice green and the kitchen is reliable.
Reserve the clubhouse table after a morning round, take the daily fish or the grill, and stay through the afternoon. Pair the day with a hotel transfer rather than a self-drive — the access road can be slow.
The morning round, the long clubhouse lunch.
