Madison sits on the rooftop of One New Change — the Jean Nouvel shopping building on the eastern side of St Paul's — and remains the only rooftop bar in central London that faces the cathedral dome at touching distance. The kitchen is correct but the address is the view. The terrace runs the summer service; the indoor bar holds the winter.
Take a drink at the terrace at 18h in summer with the dome lit by the late sun; the dinner inside is the right register for the same view from a different angle. The roof opens at 7h for breakfast.
