- 15-17 Broadwick Street, Soho
- 1★ Michelin (since 2005, held continuously)
- All-day dim sum, patisserie, Chinese tea selection
- Also Yauatcha City
Yauatcha opened on Broadwick Street in 2004 as Alan Yau's contemporary dim sum room and has held one Michelin star continuously since the year after — the only dim sum address in Europe to do so. The room is small, the format is all-day service, the patisserie counter at the entrance handles the macarons and the cheesecake that close the meal. The City sister is bigger and louder.
Book the lunch on a weekday, take the venison puff and the prawn cheung fun, finish with the patisserie. The Soho room is the one with the original kitchen.
The dim sum with the star.
