Cecconi's was founded by ex-Cipriani Enzo Cecconi in 1978 and bought by Soho House in 2005, who have since exported the format to Miami, Berlin and Shoreditch — but the Burlington Gardens original remains the canonical room. The proposition is the all-day Italian: the breakfast at 8h for the meeting, the cicchetti at the bar at 18h, the dinner at 21h, the espresso on the way out. The room sits across from the Royal Academy.
Book the dinner at 20h on a weeknight, take the saffron risotto and the veal Milanese. The breakfast is the Mayfair business meeting; the bar is the late drink before the Soho House.
