Bill Granger opened the Westbourne Grove room in 2011 as the first London outpost of his Sydney café group and quietly defined the West London brunch service for the decade that followed. The kitchen has not moved off the ricotta hotcakes and the scrambled eggs that the Sydney rooms also serve; the all-day menu runs through to dinner with Australian-Asian crossover dishes. Bill Granger died in 2023; the group continues.
Take the late breakfast on a Sunday at 11h with the ricotta hotcakes and the scrambled eggs; sit on the corner banquette. The dinner is calmer than the brunch.
