E&O opened on Blenheim Crescent in 2001 as Will Ricker's pan-Asian sharing room and has remained the address that Notting Hill defaults to when the dinner has to be local but cannot be casual. The format is the small-plate menu pulled across Thailand, China, Japan and Korea; the room is the dark wood banquettes that have not changed; the crowd is the West London regulars who have stopped going to Mayfair.
