Dinings SW3 is the Chelsea sister to the Marylebone original — Tomonari Chiba's Japanese izakaya format that the regulars treat as the alternative to Zuma when the dinner has to be quieter. The basement holds the counter for eight; the courtyard terrace above takes the summer service; the kitchen is the Nobu-trained tapas-format Japanese that has run unchanged for a decade.
Book the counter in the basement for dinner at 20h, take the omakase and the cold-soba salad. The terrace is the lunch in June.
