Scalini imported the family operation that has run the London room since the eighties and the Dubai version is, by a margin, the most reliable classic Italian dinner in the city. The pasta is made on site and the kitchen does not chase a concept beyond consistency.
Book the terrace from October to April, take the veal milanese and one of the daily pastas, ask the maître d' for the off-menu tiramisu. For an ordinary Italian dinner that is exactly what is ordered, the address is the default.
