Develi Samatya

Develi opened in Samatya in 1966 and has remained the family's heritage room — Antep cuisine, the patented pistachio kebab the brand built its reputation on, and the Marmara-facing terrace that has been the city's classic rakı-and-kebab table for half a century. The fourth generation runs the kitchen; the recipes have not been edited.

Reserve the terrace for the late lunch, take the pistachio kebab and a baklava, and pour the rakı across the Marmara view. The Nişantaşı branch is the operational version; this is the historical one.
