- Project of Pavarotti's former agent, Florence-trained team
- House-made pasta and a Tuscan grill
- Garden room with the retractable roof
- Calle de Padilla 1, Salamanca
Numa Pompilio opened on the corner of Padilla in 2020 and has, in five years, become the Italian address of Salamanca — a room of garden-and-mirror by the same set-design school as Amazónico, but the kitchen is the genuine article, run by a team trained in Florence and with house-made pasta to back it up. The Tuscan grill is the second reason to come; the garden room with the retractable roof is the first.
Book the garden room for dinner at 21h30, ask for the tagliolini al tartufo as a half-portion before the secondo. Wine list is mostly Tuscan, which is correct. The crowd is the same one as Ten Con Ten, slightly more Italian.
Book it for the garden and the truffle pasta.
