- Moroccan fusion, chef Narjisse Benkabbou
- Rooftop with Atlas Mountain view
- Down a narrow medina alley near the spices
- Lunch and dinner, reserve dinner
L'Mida was opened by two friends, Omar and Simo, and named after the low Moroccan table the Darija dialect calls a mida. The cooking under Narjisse Benkabbou is the modern Moroccan kitchen at its most confident — local produce, traditional bases, a lighter touch on plate and on palate. The rooftop opens over the medina to the Atlas, with pop colours that work better in person than in any photograph.
Ask for Simo when you reserve and request the rooftop, not the indoor floor. Lunch is calmer; dinner is the social one. The Berber pancakes at brunch are the one obvious order.
The medina address worth crossing the city for.
