- Quadrilatero della Moda, from Piazza San Babila
- Bordered by Via della Spiga, Via Sant'Andrea, Via Borgospesso
- Most expensive shopping street in Europe (2024 rankings)
- Open store hours, year round
Via Montenapoleone runs four hundred metres from Piazza San Babila north to the Giardini Pubblici — the spine of the Quadrilatero della Moda and, since 2024, the most expensive shopping street in Europe by rent per square metre. Bulgari at number 6, Prada at number 8, Hermès at number 12, Louis Vuitton at number 2: the addresses are the proposition, the street is the catwalk, the regulars know which café to sit at to watch.
Walk Montenapoleone in the late afternoon between 16h and 18h, cross into Via della Spiga for the smaller boutiques, take the aperitivo at Cova at the corner of Via Sant'Andrea. The Saturday afternoon is the loudest version of the street.
The most expensive 400 metres in Europe.
