Brera Quartiere

Milan · Neighbourhood walk

Brera Quartiere

The Pinacoteca, the cobblestones, the Botanical Gardens, the cafés around the Accademia — the Milan walk that the locals do at noon and at midnight.

Brera is the quartiere bounded by Via Pontaccio to the south and Via Solferino to the north — the Pinacoteca at the centre, the Botanical Gardens behind, the cobblestone streets that hold the cafés and the bars at noon and the late dinners after the Scala. The Milanese walk is from the Accademia di Brera through the Orto Botanico and out onto Via Solferino for the aperitivo; the proposition holds at both 12h and 23h.

Walk from the Pinacoteca through Via Fiori Chiari, aperitivo at Fioraio Bianchi Caffè or Bar Jamaica, dinner on Via Solferino. The Sunday morning is the quietest version of the neighbourhood.

The Milan walk that runs from noon to midnight.
