- One Michelin star
- Inside Hôtel Beau-Rivage, Quai du Mont-Blanc
- Chef Dominique Gauthier, in the kitchen since 1998
- Closed Sunday and Monday
Le Chat-Botté is the Beau-Rivage dining room and Dominique Gauthier has run the kitchen for more than a quarter of a century — the rare Geneva chef who has stayed put long enough to define a house. Classical French with the lake produce that the Mayer family has built relationships around for generations.
Ask for the round table in the corner if you are four. The wine list is one of the deepest in the city on Swiss whites and the service is the older school — discreet, precise, never theatrical. Worth a dinner whether you are staying in the house or not.
Book it for the classical evening in town.
