Les Palmiers has been on the same patch of Pampelonne since 1959 and is the rare beach club that has resisted the conversion to spectacle. No DJ in the afternoon, no second service, no clipboard. The lunch is Provençal and unambiguous, and the sunbeds clear out by 18h.
Book lunch at 13h, take a sunbed for the afternoon, and accept that there is nothing to photograph. The address is the day I send the client who has done Pampelonne and wants the version that exists when no one is watching.
