The Grill occupies the Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson room on the ground floor of the Seagram Building — the landmarked interior of what was the Four Seasons Grill Room for fifty-six years. Major Food Group took it in 2017, restored the room, and rebuilt the menu around the mid-century American cooking it was originally meant to serve.
The duck press at the table, the prime rib trolley, the dover sole filleted in front of you — the service theatre is the point and is executed at a higher standard than the chains that have tried to copy it. Book a booth at lunch with a private equity client and the room does most of the work.
Book it for the power lunch in the Seagram.
