Gigi Rigolatto at Delano Miami Beach

Laurent de Gourcuff's Italian flagship makes its American debut in the Delano's pool and ground-floor spaces — the same format that works in Saint-Tropez, Monaco, and Rome, now planted on Collins.

Gigi Rigolatto arrived on Collins on May 7th, after stops in Saint-Tropez, Rome, Dubai, and Bodrum — the Paris Society formula of warm Italian hospitality and a room that manages the transition from long lunch to late dinner. The pool and terrace takeover at the redesigned Delano gives it the right architecture: daylight-facing, volume-friendly, unapologetically social.

The Delano itself reopened May 1st after six years under renovation, now under Ennismore. Gigi handles the ground floor and pool; Mimi Kakushi (1920s Osaka Japanese) sits on the fourth floor and is exclusive to Delano Members Club and hotel guests. The two-concept stack mirrors what Paris Society does at its most disciplined properties — one room for the day-into-evening crowd, one for the inner circle.

Book for the table by the pool, arrive before sunset, order the pasta and whatever Laurent's team has made cold.
