Marbella Club Hotel

Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe's 1954 invention on the Golden Mile — the hotel that put Marbella on the European map and still its most considered address.

The Marbella Club is the hotel that invented the Costa del Sol — Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe took the family villa, opened nine bungalows to friends in 1954, and the address has spent seventy years as the discreet first choice of the European aristocracy and the visiting American. The property runs nine hectares from the Golden Mile road down to the sand, the gardens are mature in a way no newer resort can match, and La Milla on the beach is still the long-lunch table for the Saturday set.

Book a Beach Villa for the family or a Garden Suite for the couple. Lunch at La Milla every day, dinner alternated between the Marbella Club Grill and a car into Marbella old town. The Six Senses spa is worth a half-day on the Sunday before flying out.

Book it for the seventy years of patina.
