Monacair runs the Nice-Monaco rotation every thirty minutes in season — the slot lines up with the international arrival at NCE, customs is cleared on the Nice side, the helicopter lifts from the NCE heli terminal and lands at Fontvieille seven minutes later. The car runs from the heliport to the Hôtel de Paris in eight minutes.
By road the same trip is between forty minutes (good) and two hours (Grand Prix week, August Saturdays). The helicopter is the only correct answer for the arrival; the return is the same logic in reverse.
