The reopening in December 2025 was the most thorough renewal in the hotel's thirty-year history — Jouin Manku ran the design, every guest room redrawn with fluid layouts and expanded wet rooms, and the New York Grill restored to its original black-and-chrome on the 52nd floor. The cinematic presence is intact. The bones, finally, match it.
Book a Park Suite on the 50th, eat at Girandole the first night and the New York Grill the second, and take the glass-roofed pool early in the morning. The hotel reopened on phases — the Delicatessen back online in March 2026 — and the property is once again the address against which the others in the city are measured.
