Onza

Arik Tsodker's Jaffa room — Turkish-Israeli cooking from a charcoal grill, on the edge of the flea market.

Onza sits on the edge of the Jaffa flea market and runs Arik Tsodker's Turkish-Israeli menu from a charcoal grill — mezze, sharing plates, a kitchen that draws as heavily from Anatolia as it does from the local market. The room is small and reads more residential than the Florentin addresses.

Book the early service at 19h, take the mezze opening, the slow-cooked lamb, and one of the grill skewers. End with a Turkish coffee on the street. For a client who wants the Jaffa dinner that locates the kitchen on the right side of the city, this is the booking.
