- 37 avenue Hoche, 75008
- 149 rooms and suites, Raffles brand
- Il Carpaccio 1★ Michelin, Matsuhisa Paris
- Spa My Blend by Clarins, private cinema
The Royal Monceau is the Philippe Starck palace of the 8e — the avenue Hoche address, the white-and-gold interiors of the 2010 reopening, the private cinema in the basement that the other palaces never managed to install. The kitchens are Il Carpaccio for the Italian, Matsuhisa Paris for the Nobu sister, and the spa is the My Blend by Clarins operation that the Parisian regulars use independently of the hotel guests.
Book a Junior Suite for the rue de Tilsitt side, take dinner at Il Carpaccio on the first evening, return for Matsuhisa on the second. The cinema in the basement is the rare palace amenity that the children of the Faubourg actually remember, and the spa is the most credible palace wellness operation in the 8e.
The 8e palace for the long avenue Hoche stay.
