Le Bar des Prés is Cyril Lignac's small Saint-Germain dinner room — sushi counter on the left, a short French menu on the right, both written for the late neighbourhood evening. The room has held its short reservation list for ten years without ever expanding the seating, which is the surest sign that the kitchen is still meeting the demand.
Book the bar for two, take the spicy tuna and the lobster roll, drink the dry champagne. The dinner is the right call for the second evening in the 6e when the long table is not the answer.
