Courchevel altiport is the most demanding civilian airfield in Europe — a 537-metre runway at 11% gradient with no go-around. Most jet crews are not qualified, and the alternative is to land at Chambéry or Lyon and drive the three hours up. The helicopter from Geneva is the working answer: jet to GVA, transfer airside, helicopter to the altiport in an hour.
Mont Blanc Hélicoptères and Heli Air Monaco hold the inventory of AS350 and EC130 suited for the altitude. Camille books the slot against the jet arrival; the bags are handed across at GVA and the door-to-chalet is door-to-chalet.
Book it for the New Year's week.
