Argentine Polo Open · Palermo

The 132nd Argentine Open at Campo Argentino de Polo — the Triple Crown's final tournament, the most important polo championship in the world.

The Argentine Open at Palermo is the World Series of polo — the final tournament of the Triple Crown, the most important polo championship anywhere, and the December weekend that the entire international polo calendar is built around. The 2026 final is set for Saturday, December 12 at the Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo — the field that has hosted the championship since 1893, in the middle of the city, a fifteen-minute taxi from any Recoleta hotel.

For polo-led trips to Buenos Aires the strategy is to align travel with one of the final weekends — quarter-finals, semis, or the final itself — and to base in Palermo or Recoleta so the field is walking distance. La Dolfina remains the team to follow; Adolfo Cambiaso is in his late forties and continues to play at the ten-goal handicap. Tickets via the Asociación Argentina de Polo; the Catedral del Polo seats book early.
