Yellowstone Club

The 15,200-acre members-only ski community on Big Sky — the only private ski mountain in the world, with the address Mark Zuckerberg keeps.

Yellowstone Club is the only private ski mountain in the world — 2,900 acres of groomed and ungroomed terrain that exists for the use of its members and their guests, and nobody else. The math works because the club caps membership and the membership has the means: initiation is in the hundreds of thousands, annual dues are forty-thousand-plus, and the property requirement starts at four million. The result is empty chairlifts on a thirty-inch powder day and a single-digit skier count per square mile on Saturdays.

For clients who already own at the club, the work I do is the logistics — Bozeman jet, SUV to the gate, chef and ski-tech at the house, dinner reservations at Rainbow Lodge. For clients who do not yet have a member sponsor, this is not a door I can open; it is one of the few addresses where the access genuinely cannot be bought without the invitation.

The only private ski mountain in the world.
