The Delano closed in 2020 and returned on May 1st, 2026 — 171 rooms, Philippe Starck's vertical white geometry intact, the lobby's theatrical proportions preserved and clarified. What has changed is the gastronomy. Ennismore brought in Paris Society for the food and beverage programme, and Laurent de Gourcuff's group has installed two concepts that have earned credibility across a decade in Europe.
Gigi Rigolatto anchors the pool and ground floor: Italian, all-day, the warm Mediterranean formula that de Gourcuff has refined across Saint-Tropez, Rome, Dubai, and Bodrum. Mimi Kakushi sits higher up, on the fourth floor, running a 1920s Osaka Japanese kitchen with a cocktail programme to match — and accessible only to Members Club holders and hotel guests. The two-tier structure is deliberate: Gigi handles volume with ease; Mimi handles the people who prefer the door.
