Motto am Fluss occupies the Schwedenplatz Twin City Liner terminal building on the Danube Canal — the architecture is the ship-shaped Klaus Kada construction completed in 2010, the proposition is the restaurant on the upper deck with the canal view and the more casual café-bar on the water level. The Vienna after-work crowd treats it as the central canal address from 17h through to midnight.
Take the aperitivo at the café at 18h on a summer evening, the dinner upstairs at 20h. The breakfast on the terrace is the alternative morning at the canal.
